The University of Auckland Business School Entrepreneurs' Challenge provides funding and support to growth-oriented companies that are looking to move their businesses forward.

Up to one million dollars annually will be invested in selected high potential companies.  The funding will be provided in the form of a commercial loan offered on terms more favourable than those prevailing in the market for companies of a similar age, stage and risk profile.

Depending on circumstances, the funding may only be made available conditional on the opportunity for the Challenge to receive some of the upside that comes from the success that will arise through having access to it. In addition, successful applicants will receive mentoring by successful entrepreneurs and business executives, access to the Entrepreneurs’ Challenges partners and networks, priority consideration in the Business School’s internship, consulting, and experiential learning programmes and profile building opportunities.
