- The Entrepreneurs’ Challenge Term Sheet [PDF - 259.1 KB] signed by the management team
Don’t Forget: To take into account annual debt repayment of the loan in
your forecasts. For consistency, please assume a commercial interest
rate.

*Ideally, the financial information will come in the form of: full annual reports for the past two years, two-year Balance Sheet and P&L, and two-year forecasts with assumed annual debt repayment (assuming your company receives the quantum of funding you request).
Qualifiers will have three weeks to
complete and submit full proposals. The full proposals submission
deadline is
5pm Monday August 30 2010.
Qualifiers will also be required to sign and return the Entrepreneurs’ Challenge Terms and Conditions with their full proposals.
Required information will include:
Executive Summary:
- A description of the core product or service and the target market
- A discussion of the current status of the business and the business opportunity
- An outline of the growth plan that the Entrepreneurs’ Challenge funding will support
- Brief profiles of the management team discussing relevant experience
Funding & Growth Plan:
- An outline of the funds required and how they will be used
- A breakdown of costs
- An outline of the milestones and KPIs
- A return on investment projection
- An explanation of how the business will service the debt
Other Documentation:
- Current Balance Sheet and P&L
- Two year forecasts
- Summary of current funding received
In the Due Diligence phase, Finalists will be expected to provide:
- Full Annual Reports for the past two years
- Two-year Balance Sheet and P&L
- Two-year forecasts with assumed annual debt repayment
All full proposals will be reviewed by the Entrepreneurs’ Challenge Investment Committee from Tuesday August 31 - Friday September 17 2010. Selected finalists will be notified by 6pm Friday September 17 2010.
